A member of the Board of the VRQA said to me one day that:
'Your school would not be able to gain registration today.'
Which seems strange given our unmatched performance in pretty much all areas of school operations: social, emotional, sporting and academic. Perhaps he was referring to our prioritising looking after children over completing mountains of boring documents that make no one happy. We are, I admit, not very good at that.
I should be clear that the comment was not said as a threat, or with any ill intent. It was simply a reflection of the current state of affairs.
